Papercuts

Papercuts is inspired by the Japanese festival Tanabata, also known as the Star Festival, and the art of Kirigami, a type of origami that involves the cutting of paper to create beautiful and intricate shapes. All but two prints are printed on unbleached fabric to create the natural warmth of vintage paper.

Designed by Rashida Coleman-Hale for Cotton and Steel, this stunning collection released in January 2018 is perfect for patchwork, quilting and has fantastic motifs for fussy cutting.

All printed on 100% premium quilting cotton for all but two of the range, which are a beautiful weight cotton/linen canvas.
