Stranded Embroidery Thread 154 – Prune
This deep purple shade is one of the darkest purples we sell from our selection of 36 shades. Use it to add shadow or strong outlines to your embroidery. Purple is often associated with royalty and luxury. In Byzantine royal birthing chambers were decorated with purple cloth so it would be the first colour royal babies saw.
Sold in 8 metre skeins, its six strands separate easily. Add depth and fine details to your work by varying the number of strands you use. Colourfast dyes ensure your work can be washed without fear of the colour fading or bleeding.
