This rich bold purple adds a touch of luxury to your embroidery. Purple is often associated with royalty and luxury. It is said to enlighten, inspire, uplift and encourage us. Its strong associations with power span history. In the 4th century wearing purple could be life-threatening as Caesar decreed that only emperors were permitted to wear it.
Sold in 8 metre skeins, its six strands separate easily. Add depth and fine details to your work by varying the number of strands you use. Colourfast dyes ensure your work can be washed without fear of the colour fading or bleeding.
