Stranded Embroidery Thread 931 – Blue Grey
A mid-blue with grey tones that is one of the 66 shades of blue we sell. Pink for girls and blue for boys only became the norm in the mid-twentieth century. In the 1800s the opposite was true because blue was seen as the more delicate feminine colour.
Sold in 8 metre skeins, its six strands separate easily. Add depth and fine details to your work by varying the number of strands you use. Colourfast dyes ensure your work can be washed without fear of the colour fading or bleeding.
The Mouliné threads are still manufactured on-site in Mulhouse, France where DMC founded their business in 1746.
